Advisory Board

Gopar Govang Tapkida

Head of Advisory Board

Gopar Govang Tapkida brings over two decades of distinguished experience in peacebuilding, climate action, education, and organizational leadership. As Country Director for Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in Zimbabwe since 2013, G.G Tapkida has demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing multinational teams and forging collaborative partnerships with local stakeholders. As Director of the Africa Peacebuilding Institute (API) since 2019, he has spearheaded training and consultancy services across Africa. Previously he served as Regional Peace Advisor for MCC in West and Central Africa (2007–2013) and Peace Coordinator for MCC Nigeria (2001–2006), where he established the Emergency Preparedness and Response Team (EPRT) in Plateau State.

Executive Director

Beatrice Nenzarmwa Tapkida Sammani

Beatrice is a dynamic and culturally adept professional with nearly a decade of progressive experience in the development and humanitarian sectors. She holds a BA in International Relations with a Minor in Peace and Conflict Studies and a Concentration in Development Studies. Currently based in Zimbabwe, she works with Score Against Poverty contributing to initiatives that reduce inequality and strengthen community resilience. She brings strong expertise in results-based planning, budget management, and stakeholder engagement, and is deeply committed to advancing peace, equity, and environmentally sustainable development with a focus on marginalized communities.

Programs Manager

Mercy Ishaku

Mercy Ishaku is an accomplished development professional with an MSc in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria and a BSc in Political Science from Adamawa State University. Her career began at NIPOST Financial Service, where she built skills in administrative support, executive assistance, and human resources management. She later served as Operations Support Officer at Mission 21 Nigeria, overseeing monitoring and evaluation of partner projects and stakeholder coordination. Fluent in English and Hausa, Mercy brings expertise in project management, M&E, and strategic administration to her role as Programs Manager.

Research & MEAL Manager

Ahmed Ibrahim Isah

Ahmed Ibrahim Isah is a research-driven development professional with over seven years of experience in humanitarian action, social development, programme management, and MEAL. He has contributed to programmes across education, gender inclusion, health, livelihoods, youth resilience, and humanitarian innovation, supported by partners including UNDP, UNICEF, USAID, the British Council, and the European Union. Ahmed holds a Bachelors degree in Library and Information Science and a Professional Diploma in Education, and is an active researcher with publications on innovation, education, gender, and sustainable development.

Community Engagement & Communication Manager

Kingsley Ochi

Kingsley Ochi is a dynamic and innovative professional specializing in community engagement and communication. His expertise spans website setup and management, campaign creation, and content development across online and offline platforms. He has a proven track record in public health engagement, coordinating Ebola sensitization programmes during his Youth Service Year in Delta State, and has collaborated with multiple firms to digitize their business processes. As a member of the Bill Gates–Sesame WASH project team in Abuja, he contributed to impactful water, sanitation, and hygiene initiatives. He holds a BA from Benue State University and a professional certificate in project management.

Administrative Manager

Bature Jethro Ibrahim

Bature Jethro Ibrahim is a dedicated and result-driven Administrative Manager with strong experience in office administration, staff coordination, project support, and organizational management. He oversees administrative operations, policy implementation, staff supervision, and organizational coordination at TE-OO. He has also worked as a Research Associate with EduResolve Consult Limited, contributing to literature reviews, data collection, and research documentation. He holds certifications in Train-the-Trainer, Monitoring & Evaluation, Conflict Resolution, Digital Communication, and International Human Resource Management.

Program Officer

Njoku Charles Chidiebere

Njoku Charles Chidiebere is a purpose-driven humanitarian with six years of experience in social development, volunteering, and programme management. He holds a Diploma in Law and a Bachelors Degree in Economics. Charles has worked on a USAID-funded project in North-Eastern Nigeria and on collaborative initiatives with the American University of Nigeria through the Adamu Atiku Foundation. He believes in intentional service work that listens before it acts, and is deeply committed to people-centred, sustainable solutions that promote dignity, equity, and long-term community growth.
